1. Our commitment
We welcome feedback and take complaints seriously. Handling complaints fairly and promptly is part of our obligations under the Code of Conduct for registered migration agents.
2. How to make a complaint
You can make a complaint by email to info@seermigration.com.au, in writing to our office, or by phone. Please include your name, contact details, what happened, and what outcome you are seeking. Copies of relevant documents are helpful.
3. What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint in writing, usually within three business days.
- We review the matter, including your file and any correspondence.
- We may contact you to clarify details or discuss a resolution.
- We give you a written response, aiming to do so within 30 days. If we need more time, we'll tell you why and when to expect a response.
There is no charge for making a complaint, and making one won't affect how we handle your matter.
4. If you're not satisfied
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact:
- Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA), for complaints about the conduct of a registered migration agent: mara.gov.au.
- Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), for privacy complaints: oaic.gov.au.
- Consumer Affairs Victoria, for consumer law issues: consumer.vic.gov.au.
You can complain to OMARA at any time; you don't have to contact us first.
5. Complaints about government decisions
We can't change decisions made by the Department of Home Affairs or a review body. If you disagree with a decision on your application, contact us promptly to discuss review options and deadlines. Complaints about the Department's service can be made through its own feedback process.
6. Records
We keep a record of complaints and how they were resolved, and use them to improve our services.
